A stroll down the garden path

This little cuff bracelet is made with round two hole beads that look like the pavers in my garden. I love the earthy tones in the glass beads, and decided to finish it with a strip of leather

Betsy's Beadworks
My name is Betsy, and I was born and raised in Madison Wisconsin. I have always enjoyed making and wearing pretty things. Over the years, I dabbled with bead weaving and stringing. I love both, and often my designs are a combination of the two. I really love the design process; putting together colors and textures, choosing the right weave or balancing the beads in a mixed media piece. I especially love trying new weaves and then morphing them into something unique. I tend to take my inspiration from nature, bringing in colors, shapes and textures that I see all around me in my beautiful wild State of Wisconsin. I create strung and woven bead necklaces, bracelets and earrings using a variety of vintage glass, metal, ceramic, crystals, pearls, Czech glass and gem stone beads to create one of a kind creations. I started an Etsy online Shop (https://www.etsy.com/shop/BetsysBeadworks) after doing a few craft fairs and finding that there are actually folks out there who like to wear what I like to make! I also have a blog on Wordpress at http://betsysbeadworks.wordpress.com.
